Guys I need explanation on the question

Q) Discuss whether money or the division of labour is likely to have contributed more to economics progress?

This question is asking us to compare completely 2 different things :O

k here we go;

U could first Define what Division of labour & what money.Then explain about them,
give advantages of using money i.e + points on money, you could also include very briefly the functions & characteristics of money & how they help people to do transactions, i.e how they help the economy. Then give the disadvantages of money(there is very few).try to find any link between money & division of labour Explain it if possible.Give advantages & how division of labour lead to economic growth, specialisation between countries & within different industries in a country. Give examples; possibly about the large change in output of a firm with division of labour(car industry).Show bit of disadvantages.I recomend giving an open ended conclution as you cannot say which is better of the two, both have contributed greatly to economic growth.You can stick to one side if you have strong points & is critical in explanation.

okay . this question sounds funy at frst look, but it realy is simple. according to the mark scheme, u get:

4 marks  for giving meaning of money and division ov labour

4 marks  for giving the impact money has had on the economy

4 marks   for giving the impact division of labour has had on the economy

theres ur 8 marks, the rest of the 4 marks are for ur judgement, well if u look at it logically, i think division of labour did the better job, no? =)

na i dont think division of labour did the better job !, after all its money that made firms specalise , money came b4 division of labour ;)
