If the pH of juice is 1.80, then the hydrogen ion concentration [H+] of the juice is:
a) 1.00 X10^-2 mole/liter
b)1.80 X 10^-2 mole/liter
c) 6.31 X10^-2 mole/liter
d) 1.58 X10^-2 mole/ liter

any data given about Ka?

Hydroxide ion concentration or hydrogen ion concentration ?

[OH-] would be 10-5 =1 X 10 -5 mol/dm3

Thus [H+] =  1 X 10-14
                   --------
                   1 X 10-5

=1X10-9 mol/dm3
It was [H+]

i got all the steps :D
Thanks Amii

last question..i swear lool

The molar concentration of 1.0 liter solution made by dissolving thr molar mass of solid sodium hydroxide (NaOH) in water is:
a) 0.50 mole/lier
b) 1.00 mole/liter
c) 0.10 mole/liter
d) 0.01 mole/liter

This is the last one hehe

It should be B. They say the molar mass of NaOH so that means one mole of NaOH is dissolved in 1 litre of water.

Concentration = no. of moles / volume

hence, 1mole/litre
