ok...my doubt.. ???.
plz..plz...
teme...wat is RNA interference???
Thanks in adv! ;D

MKh:
hey hermione, Thanks a lotz for the qns!!...so if these qns r made by u, did ur teacher provide u wid any qns also? If she did, plz share them wid us 2...:)

RNA ineterference is not in our specifiation so to get info on RNA interference simply type "RNA interference" in google and look for its details in the links that then appear. Wikipedia's a good place to look -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RNA_interference
Also, try this -- http://www.rnainterference.org/

u can look into many sites to get info about RNA interference and after that, without any doubt u will have a pretty good idea about it, I hope.
Need anything else? Type up in google and search :)
This is how I did it.

So overall how r u preparing for the article part of Unit 5?
Read the article and read it again and again, understand it, look for anything u do not undersand, type up qns and answer them and what else??

Along with Unit 5 are u also preparing for the Unit 6B paper? If yes, how do u prepare for it? did ur teacher provide u with any notes, worksheets etc.?? any suggestons regarding this paper would be very much appreciated....Thanks! Cheers! :)

MKh:
Hey book lover,Thanks for ur qns and I have a few doubts from the qns that u provided which I hope u will be able to answer:

5. Risks and benefits of IGF-therapy? Describe the process of IGF1
a) Natural process in the body
--my doubt: benefits of IGF 1 therapy are clearly described in the article but what about the risks?? they have not been stated except for on thing that is mentioned which is about the therapy been given to a patient with a rare liver ailment and he died....that is all.
And what do u mean by the rest of the question? by this do u mean that we have to describe how IGF-1 repairs muscles in a natural process of repairing and building muscles when we undergo excercise overload?

12. What are the risks of AVV? -- my doubt: what is AVV? is it AAV that u mean? Adenoviruses or Adeno-Associated Viruses??
If it is Adeno-Associated Viruses, what can be the possible risks associated with it? I did not read anywhere in the article regarding the risks of AAV...I just read that "smaller than an adenovirus, an AAV cannot carry as much cargo but is less vulnerable to attack from the immune system". But I did read the risks of using adenovirus in gene therapy which is that it is more vulnerable to attack from the immmune system than an AAV.

19. Authenticity of this article? --my doubt: what do u mean by this?

Thanks a lotzz! Cheers!
