A* in Alevels

How many points do i need to get an A* in for example math ..?? and do i need like C1 C2 C3 C4 M1 M2 all As? cuz i got 79/100 in M1 which is a B so.... i duno ....and what about physics and chemistry

As long as you get above 80 in each module you have a good chance of an A.

C3 and C4 have the greatest weight.

You have to get at least 270/300(90%) in your A2 and 480/600 in the overall subject. :)
For maths-C3,c4 and m2 are A2 units.
There is a exception- For  C1 C2 C3 C4 M1 S1 ,here the A2 units are C3&C4 so u have to get 180/200(90%) and overall 480/600

If u need to get an A*,these r da must pass grade boundries

AS LEVEL-240 marks
C1-more than 80- Even if u get more than 240 (80*3),u still WONT get an A*,if u dont get 270 in unitz C3,C4,M2
C2-more than 80
M1-more than 80

A2 LEVEL -270 marks
C3-more than 90
C4-more than 90
M2-more than 90

NOTE-u need to get sumhow a sum of 180 from C3 and C4 alone to get an A* and even if u get 100 fr M2 and 170 as da addition fr C3 and C4, u WONT get an A*

CHEMISTRY AND PHYSICS ARE THE SAME

CHEM AND PHYSICS
more than (80/100) fr UNITZ 1,2,3   -Even if u get more than 240 (80*3),u still WONT get an A*,if u dont get 270 in unitz
                                                           4,5,6
more than (90/100) fr UNITZ 4,5,6   - A MUST TO GET AN A*

In simply terms, you have to get 80% of both the combined grades of AS and A2. And from that, you need to get a minimum of 90% in your A2 Units.
