Why?
iluvme:
An Error Has Occurred!
Session verification failed. Please try logging out and back in again, and then try again.
Why does this appear whenever I try logging out?
$tyli$h Executive:
Maybe you logged out twice. I have this error if I log out in another tab and try logging out again.
Or maybe you didn't browse SF for 15 mins. SF automatically logs you out if you don't browse any page for 15 mins.

Not the same for me !
Ukhti-R:
No, because there is an option which says, keep me signed in for '_____'
and you have to write the time. Yours is probably 15 mins.
Change it to 389567890
Like me :D

No, what I meant is, the SMF subsystem assumes you to be online up to 15 mins for this forum. Your online status (in 'whos online') and total time logged in is maintained up to this amount of time.
When you log in "forever", its due to a cookie placed on your computer for which you are automatically logged in whenever you go to the website afterwards
