In terms of conscientious studying the majority of girls tend to be better.

However, how WELL one performs at a subject is entirely dependent on passion/understanding/interpretation and is independent of gender.

Fact: In Mauritius, girls fare better in exams, both in quantity (pass rate) and quality (in terms of marks).
