well
in general
expert systems are helpful because' u dont need expert fr it (meanin they can waste their time sumwhere else ;)  )
less chances of makin a mistake
needs to be updated with info regularly
can give the answer as i dont know
can give percentage results
as in
75% uve got malaria
25% uve got flu
just an example
