Hey guys,
I wanted to know your opinion on something:
I'm in Year 12 now in my school and I'm doing 1A level and 2 AS, which is the requirement for Egyptian universities, I want to study medicine, but when I've asked about how it goes like in Egypt, I didn't really like it unfortunately.
I have always wanted to study in the UK, I've been checking out on universities and so on and it's just amazing, I love it, however, the only problem I'm facing at the moment is the financial part of it, my dad can't really afford paying around 33,300 Pounds a year for me. [around 200,000 AED]
Now if I want to go to UK, I'll have to stay for Year 13 in my school to complete my A-levels, but if things don't work out well at the end of Year 13 and I'd go to Egypt, my Year 10 IGCSE grades won't be accepted, because then they'd have been expired according to the Egyptian Universities rules [only the last 3 years are accepted] and then I'd have to re-sit the subjects I did in Year 10!
What would you guys advice me to do?
Is there anyone who was able to make it to good universities in the UK? If yes, how did things work out for you?
Thanks in advance!
