You can write the exam at the British Council in your city.

There are no such A Level subjects that are called Petroleum, Geology or Earth Sciences.

Geography or Environmental Management are two subjects that may cover the same syllabus as Petroleum, Geology and/or Earth Sciences.

I am assuming you are applying for a university in America

I sent the university this question

and they told me you can give SAT 1 and ACT and your high school transcripts evaluated from a Outside Agency Like NAS etc. You can get the information regarding agencies dealing with these problems at your local US embassy and their educational advising centre

E M (8291) is only an AS Subject :

Paper 1 - Lithosphere and Atmosphere
Paper 2 - Hydrosphere and Biosphere

Geography (9696) consists of AS and A2 syllabuses :

Paper 1 - Core Geography
Paper 2 - Advanced Physical Options
Paper 3 - Advanced Human Options

Continuous efforts matter more than the outcome.

Go for SATI, and SAT II if you want to get to a really good university. Take the IELTS test too to prove your english proficiency and apply for universities in the US.

Or if you want to go for a university in UK, A level is important.

US recommends TOEFL and not IELTS.

Nope. They accept both and treat them as equal.
