can anyone help me with this question please?
Find the equation of the curve which passes through the point (1,6)
and for which dy/dx=(1/sqrt x)(x-2/2x)
i can't integrate it:(
Well am not sure.......it would be nice if someone could confirm the answer.
I got....... y = x
1/2 + 2/x
1/2 + 3
First you need to multiply the denominators so as to obtain one fraction only. You'll get (x - 2)/(2 x
3/2)
Then you separate the fraction again to get 1/(2 x
1/2) - 1/(x
3/2)
From there its easier to integrate..........try it out.
If you still cannot do it........let me know.
