As for Software engineering do i have to take ICT at AS or A level or is it not necessary?

Depends on what kind of engineering, however, Chem and Physics are a must for most kinds.
Business St. is a worthless subject honestly speaking.

Hmm.......i would advise chemistry especially if you plan to opt for chemical engineering!
Well.....like Ari highlighted Business will in no case benefit you in your future :)
I dont think ICT is a must.........but it would surely be an advantage to you!

bussines is for those who want to be maganger(MBA) bussiness man etc
i would sujest to to take chm not b.std
