Does IELET Examination need special preparation?

If your education medium was English all these years, you don't need any significant special preparation other than being acquainted with the test format. But grade E in IGCSE english is not a very good grade. So, I think you will require special preparation if you are to aim for a band 7.

If you're registering through british council, they should offer you a 'workshop' day for a little extra charge. Do pay them and attend the workshop day. Its very useful.
