Came to realise... physical pain is incomparable.

Have you guys read 1984? A man lived in a totalitarian country, and finally broke the rules when he fell in love with a women. He promised he would never betray her to the government, and that he hated the leader - Big Brother. After months of physical abuse and torture he betrayed his love towards the women, and was completely brainwashed. In the end, he said he loved Big Brother and he meant it.
