Combining partitions of the Hard disk

You have to manually delete both partitions, and then create a new partition from the 'unallocated space', effectively a merge.

Make sure you backup all your data, as deleting a partition will cause all data on it to be lost.

Yeah, I deleted one of the partitions and it went to unallocated areas
Now, the other part is the one which is the C drive, meaning it has all the program files and everything on it..how do i back-up that?
P.S the other partition that I just deleted was all data, so I copied that

I isn't giving any option like that, though in the option list there is one called "expand volume" but it isn't functioning.

That is because C: is the primary drive in ur pc probably

All the boot files area there

Which drive is your Windows installed?

@d!_†oX!©:
Windows is installed in C only..
I'll let you know the whole scenario for better understanding..
I had C drive(around 250 GB) and D drive
I partitioned the C drive into three parts - C(which had all the programs and was basically working as the main C drive that we have), and two more drives with simply data which I have already copied onto another external hard drive.
I want to combine the above three drives back into 1
So i started, as DrEvil said, to delete one of the above drives, which is now in the unallocated space
What to d next?
I'm sorry for troubling so much..please help!!

Heart Hacker:
keep the C; Drive

all the other partitions u want to merge delete them and create ONE partition from the unallocated space

Then merge the C:drive with the newly created partition from Windows.

If its not working download this
