can someone please help me with the theory course. i am in the dark and i don't know what to study for the exam. please help! :'( :'(

You need to study everything included in the sylabus i know this is not new but i have some good tips for u
1)Review some past papers (in other words solve :)) There are many repeated questions and they usually come every year like the question about ROM and RAM.
2) Review ur textbook and understand every single word.
3) Study the advantages and disadvantages of internet, laptop, network,Storage devices cuz these questions are always asked.

Hope u benefit from my tips ;D
If i fall along the way pick me up and dust me off...and if i get too tired to make it..be my breath so i can walk!!

Unfortunately i dont know any sites for system analysis
but study these points by heart...by heart
1)how to collect data of a current system (4 ways)
2)Types f implamentation and disadv.and advan. of each type.
3) Why do u have to evaluate the new system?
4)Types of data-normal,abnormal and extreme (These are the types used for testing..u must be able to describe each one)
5) Know everything about feasibility study.
6) Difference between technical and user documentation
7)What is included in the feasibility report.

That's all....if u know these points i can gurantee that u will do gd in this section

Also do
:the ways in which IT is used, and
:the effects of using IT(one of the examiners favourites)
have a clear concept of the systems and analysis section
as IG girl juz mentioned abv..and also computer networks!
hope u know logo well, cuz it comes for sure and the basics:
hardwares/softwares
input/output
components of a computer(webcam,microphone,CPU,monitor etc..)

also remember revising the EXPERT SYSTEM, and the SENSORS part (the processing and all)

the ones i said above always come, in the same exam or separately but they do come with no less than 5 marks each....and as junky demon and IG girl previously said

for example u got data in a range of 0-60

normal test will be: within the range
Abnormal: outside the range
extreme: at 0 or at 60

u use them in explaining but they are not that common in exams....cuz the examiner doesnt usually ask about the system analysis in ONE WHOLE Q, but actually i guess it happened once

either way....those 3 tests happen in testing the new system before implementation.....and they test the validation routines to know if the new system is wrokin properly or not, the data in the abnormal should be rejected and the normal and extreme are accepted by the system.

FEASIBILITY STUDY-for eg. a company does all its accounting work manually and wants to gt it computerised..the analysis and the study of building up the software and to check if getting it computerised is possible or not is the feasibility study(hope ure gtn it)its in very simple words dat ive put it in..nw try checking the actual definition in ur textbook.

NORMAL DATA-a data wich is withn the givn range for eg.the range is supposingly 1-9..if a no. is givn to be 3* thn it fits in the range hence it is a normal data..

ABNORMAL DATA-one wich is totally out of range (continuing the abv eg.)if the no. is 13...

EXTREME DATA-the no.s at the extreme of the range here..1 and 9.
study well ;)
