Aishath:
can anyone please please please help me on normal, abnormal and extreme thing??? and also feasibility study....

sanity_master:
for example u got data in a range of 0-60

normal test will be: within the range
Abnormal: outside the range
extreme: at 0 or at 60

u use them in explaining but they are not that common in exams....cuz the examiner doesnt usually ask about the system analysis in ONE WHOLE Q, but actually i guess it happened once

either way....those 3 tests happen in testing the new system before implementation.....and they test the validation routines to know if the new system is wrokin properly or not, the data in the abnormal should be rejected and the normal and extreme are accepted by the system.

FEASIBILITY STUDY-for eg. a company does all its accounting work manually and wants to gt it computerised..the analysis and the study of building up the software and to check if getting it computerised is possible or not is the feasibility study(hope ure gtn it)its in very simple words dat ive put it in..nw try checking the actual definition in ur textbook.

NORMAL DATA-a data wich is withn the givn range for eg.the range is supposingly 1-9..if a no. is givn to be 3* thn it fits in the range hence it is a normal data..

ABNORMAL DATA-one wich is totally out of range (continuing the abv eg.)if the no. is 13...

EXTREME DATA-the no.s at the extreme of the range here..1 and 9.
study well ;)
