Amii:
x2-6x + 10
=(x-3)2 -32 +10

Look it will be the same thing when you solve it
=(x-3)2 -32 +10
=(x2 - (2*3*x)+32) -32 +10
=x2- 6x + 9 -9 + 10
=x2- 6x +0 + 10
=x2 -6x +10
Again you are getting back the same thing right?
Now disappearing of x is okay?  :P

(x-3)(x-3) - 9 + 10
x2 -3x-3x +9 + 1
then:
x2 -6x + 10
